Meet Dr. Girard

 

Dr. Girard began his career with the United States Army in the late 80s. He studied at the Academy of Health Sciences in Fort Sam Houston. He completed training as a US Army Dental Specialist as well as completing the Dental Laboratory Technology training in the top of his class. He then was assigned to the Buffalo VA hospital. There worked with leading surgeons placing the first generation of dental implants. These implants were involved with the first implant studies in the United States. During such time he completed a bachelor degree in Biology graduating with Cum Lade honors. He went on to the University of Buffalo to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery training. He graduated with Thesis Honors with his research on diabetes
